Jessica Babich, PT, DPT, CFMT

Jessica 2Jessica received her Bachelors of Science in kinesiology from Michigan State University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, Arizona. Following graduation Jessica worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic serving patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and viscerogenic dysfunctions in the greater Phoenix area. Jessica’s passion for restoring function, and commitment to providing the highest quality of care for her patients led her to immerse herself in continuing education course work, specifically with the Barral Institute, APTA, and the Institute of Physical Art.
Prior to joining Beyond Basics, Jessica participated in a Functional Manual Therapy orthopedic residency through the Institute of Physical Art, where she spent two years developing and refining her manual therapy skills under the mentorship of some of the most advanced manual therapists in the country. Jessica will sit or her certification in Functional Manual Therapy with the IPA in August 2017.
Jessica believes in a holistic approach to patient care, and her interest in pelvic floor therapy was sparked from working with talented specialists who integrated pelvic health with the entire musculoskeletal system. As a consultant of movement efficiency, Jessica quickly found that addressing the pelvic floor is an integral component to achieving optimal functional performance.
