Tina Cardenia, PT DPT

Tina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Queens College and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University. Following completion of her doctoral program, Tina pursued advanced manual therapy training through the Institute of Physical Art. She is currently pursuing certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art.
Prior to joining Beyond Basics, Tina worked in orthopedics and dance medicine, working with Performing Arts Physical Therapy, providing backstage care to a number of Broadway shows. Her interest in pelvic health was sparked by inspirational mentors that highlighted the interconnectedness of the body. She has continued to explore this connection through training at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Tina is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS).
